Your Training and Personal Development

Prior to your becoming a full-time agent, you will have the opportunity to learn the details of our business and your new job by attending a special orientation program.

This program is designed to provide you with sufficient information about your potential career  before requiring your full commitment.

You will be provided with in-house training as well as joint sales activity with your manager.

Upon successful completion of our orientation program, you will sign an agreement with ALICO AIG Life as an independent contractor. 
You will then be presented with additional training to help you develop your skills in such areas as: Selecting Prospects; Approaching Prospects; Identifying Insurance Needs; Designing and Presenting Solutions; Closing the Sale; Servicing Your Clients; Gaining Referrals; and Time Management.

We provide on-going training classes and seminars to further your professional development.

ALICO AIG Life takes full advantage of industry-wide, professional training organizations in the development of its agents.

Your Career

As a professional agent  you will have the opportunity to advance and to be recognized for your superior performance. 

Your career path may progress as follows:

You will begin as a Career Agent.

After meeting the qualification requirements, you may be advanced to the level of Senior Agent.

After a period of time, and meeting additional requirements, you may be advanced to the level of Executive Agent.

At each level of success, you will be eligible for additional benefits and recognition.

If you so desire, you may, with the approval of Senior Management, be considered for an ALICO AIG Life management position having once proven your sales ability.

Management Opportunities

If your want to direct your career into sales management, the opportunity may be available to you. 
You will discuss your desires and capabilities with company management who will assist you in making the transition.

The first level of sales management is that of Unit Manager.   You will be expected to recruit and train several agents of your own.  You will be responsible to supervise and motivate them to become successful career agents.  
Your experience as an agent will be extremely valuable to you in this effort.

If you are successful as a Unit Manager, and you wish to advance in the area of sales management, you may express your desire to become an Agency Manager.  
Company management will assist you in this transition.

As an Agency Manager, you will recruit, train, and develop several Unit Managers as well as top-producing agents in your agency.  You will operate your agency as your own business.  If successful, you will enjoy virtually unlimited earnings and satisfaction as you help other individuals find success in their careers with ALICO AIG Life.

ALICO AIG Life provides training for its managers in recruiting, selection, training, coaching, supervision, joint fieldwork, and time management.
